Independent managed account specialist Implemented Portfolios has recruited two new staff to boost its sales and portfolio management functions.

Natasha Daniels, whose previous experience includes roles at Westpac and Perpetual, has joined the group as corporate development business manager, while former Mason Stevens separately managed account manager Emery Wong has come on board as assistant portfolio manager.

Daniels will be based in Perth as the company looked to build its local presence on the fast-growing west coast, Implemented Portfolios founder and corporate development chief executive Santi Burridge said.

“Natasha will provide an unparalleled uplift to the team’s development capabilities in Perth and nationally,” Burridge said.

Implemented Portfolios chairman Greg Kirk added Wong would bring invaluable managed accounts experience and a strong investment and service ethic to his new role.

The appointments capped off a strong financial year for the group, which recorded a 35 per cent growth in funds under management to over $640 million, as well as a 30 per cent rise in account numbers.

Kirk said he was optimistic the group’s growth trajectory would be maintained and indicated future additional service enhancements were on the way.
